Nutty Brownies

Hi guys!

Last week, I made some Brownies for my colleagues at work. One of them asked me if I had ever made them with nuts since he likes it so much. Negative. I have never ever made anything with nuts before. Except for almond flour but that doesn’t count. So, nuts huh? Challenge accepted! I must say they looked pretty damn good when I took them out of the oven.

First time ever using nuts, I think I may have exaggerated a little on the nutty intentions… But it was supposed to be nutty, so I think I definitely nailed that one xD

Made with love: Moelleux for Valentine’s Day

Hi guys!

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❀

“What should I make for Valentine’s Day?” I think that question went through my mind multiple times a day for the past weeks. Red things? Pink things? Red Velvet things? Heart shaped things? I had no idea! Inspiration enough but just no clue. I wanted something easy but delicious. Romantic, but not too much. And – of course – a crowd pleaser. PING! What do I love most? What do women love most? (Besides puppies and men with sixpacks…) Chocolate! Suddenly the idea for my Valentine’s Day recipe was born: Moelleux (aka Lava Cake)

Making Donuts with Dr.Oetker

Hi guys!

I think it’s been a while. At least a week. The beginning of the year was crazy, we had a 2-days event for work and then a business trip came along (forgot to take my laptop with me – of course). So yes, I missed my kitchen and I missed my blog. But I haven’t been gone for long πŸ™‚ I’m still amazed at how much I like to bake and blog seeing it’s only been a week since my last blogpost and I missed it.

To start the new baking year off right, I immediately baked something I’ve been wanting to do for years. I bought myself a donut baking tin! The day after, some yummy donuts were born. Why I waited a whole day? Because I didn’t have enough flour and the stores were already closed. So typical…

Chocolate Speculoos Truffles

Hi guys!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

You probably have 1 more big feast to go: New Year’s Eve!
What better treat to serve your guests than homemade Chocolate Speculoos Truffles? πŸ˜€

Some only use Nutella or any other hazelnut based paste to fill the Truffles, but I like it a bit crunchy so I added crunchy speculoos paste as well πŸ™‚ It gives your Truffles a little extra πŸ˜‰ Yummmmm!

Marshmallow Brownies

Hi guys!

I’m so happy to be back in my kitchen and back here with you guys. I knew I loved baking and blogging, but I honestly didn’t know I’d feel such an urge for it when unable to do so. I had a little injury on my wrist, making it quite impossible for me to write, let alone bake something. But that’s over now and I’m back with a BAM if I may say so myself πŸ˜‰

Chocolate Chip Vampire Cookies for Halloween

Hi guys!

Do you know the story about that cute, little nerdy Cookie that went bad? No? Let me tell you.

Nerdy Nummies Smart Cookie

Once upon a Halloween night, Nerdy Cookie felt bored. He thought a walk outside might make him feel better. But he was too afraid to go outside on Halloween, so instead, he grabbed some sweets, installed himelf on the couch and chose a funny movie to watch. Little did he know that eating vampire teeth on Halloween would have a very different outcome than a little bit of a stomach-ache. Continue reading

Kinder Bueno Cupcakes

Hi guys!

Lately I’ve been craving chocolate. But not in the form of an actual chocolate bar. I’ve been craving Kinder Bueno’s! I came accross Jane’s Patisserie and she had a recipe for Kinder Bueno Cupcakes!Β What a coincidence! So what did I do? I ran to the store, bought some Kinder Bueno’s and made Kinder Bueno Cupcakes πŸ˜€

Chocolate Strawberry Cupcakes

Hi guys!

I’m a chocoholic. Big time. But I also love fruits such as watermelon, banana, kiwi, mango, raspberry and strawberries. You hear me coming, don’t you? (Or you’ve read the title…)
Combining those two loves makes… Chocolate Strawberry Cupcakes! Indeed πŸ˜‰

The Best Nutella Frosting ever!

Hi guys!

I’ve shared a lot of Cupcakes with you over the past few years, but I never really focused on the frostings. Too bad because those often “make” the Cupcakes πŸ˜‰ Frosting is what makes the Cupcakes look pretty, what makes them wanting you to take one more and what can save a slightly dry Cupcake.

So I thought it would be worth sharing my favorite frosting recipe:Β Nutella frosting.
Perfect on vanilla cupcakes, but even better on chocolate ones to have that full chocolate flavor. Warning: only for the real chocoholic πŸ˜‰

Brownie Chocolate Ice Cream

Hi guys!

This ice cream recipe might be the easiest one you’ll ever find! I got inspired by Ben & Jerry’s. You can tell, right?

I absolutely love this ice cream flavor! It has brownie chunks in it, chocolate chips aboard and of course a yummy chocolate flavor. I’m actually really proud of my first invented ice cream flavor, although I was inspired of course.
