3 Fabulous Brownie Recipes for Chocolate Day

Hi guys!

Tomorrow might be one of my favorite days… Chocolate Day! It’s not the same as my favorite, official, holiday (you know which one that is, don’t you?) but still. If there was a rule that it was okay (when is it not) to eat chocolate all day long, I would definitely obey.

I was dreaming about what to make for Chocolate Day and the answer was quite easy: Brownies! I find Brownies to be the BEST option ever if you’re looking for something that screams chocolate. You can also go for a regular chocolate bar, but where’s the fun in that? If you make brownies however, you have the taste of divinity (and chocolate) AND the smell of divinity (and chocolate)! It makes my house smell so cozy ^^.

To celebrate chocolate Day, I’m sharing 3 fabulous Brownie recipes with you! We’ll go from ‘normal’ to ‘over the top’ 😉

Tiramisu Cupcakes

Hi guys!

I’m sharing another Tiramisu recipe today. In Cupcake costume! How cool is that?! 😉

My ultimate example when it comes to Cupcakes is Cupcake Jemma from Crumbs & Doilies, UK. I love watching her YouTube video’s and I’m dying to visit the shop whenever I get back to London some day. Hopefully next year.

So I’m guessing you guys can already figure out whose original recipe this is 😉

Tiramisu Cupcakes. It’s a Cupcake, with a Tiramisu flavor. It really is as simple as that. The Cupcake has a slight espresso flavor (very subtle) and a yummy espresso filling. That piece of heaven is topped with a smooth mascarpone buttercreme and sprinkled with cocoa powder. Drooling yet?

No-Bake Tiramisu Cheesecake

Hi guys!

I’m a fan of Tiramisu. It used to be different: I don’t drink coffee, so I always assumed I’d hate Tiramisu since it has coffee in it… Silly, I know. But my eyes opened in time to learn to love this yummy Italian treat. Many people say it’s their favorite dessert and I can’t blame them 🙂

I’ve made Tiramisu Ice Cream before and now I wanted to try a Tiramisu Cheesecake. Oh. My. God. Why haven’t I done this before? It’s heaven. Truly!

July Favorites 2017

Hi guys!

I do hope your August is going better than mine. Well, I’m talking about the weather. My August started off great. I’ve been co-hosting at Fiesta Friday, made some new and yummy recipes (coming up soon) and I’ve planned some fun trips. So yeah. My August will be great. How about yours?

But that weather though… It feels like Autumn. Nothing but rain here. It’s depressing. Summer came quickly but it looks like it has already dissapeared… I hope the sun comes back soon.

What cheers me up in these dark days you ask? My July Favorites do! I have a yummy list of recipes for you that will make you smile, but mostly make you drool 😉

Homemade Speculoos Ice Cream with Mamita’s Bakeries

Hi guys!

I promised you another Ice Cream recipe and I actually think this one is even better than the Stracciatella Ice Cream recipe 😮 (almost can’t believe I’m writing this).

What makes this Speculoos Ice Cream so good? The speculoos! I had the chance to try Mamita’s Bakeries’ speculoos and it is just so good! I’ve always been a fan of speculoos, but I never liked the super spiced ones. You know, so full of spices it becomes a different kind of cookie. At least, that’s what I think. Mamita’s Bakeries has a more spiced speculoos than the famous one we probably all know and I don’t need to mention. But the good thing – no great thing even! – is that this speculoos is just perfect. I mean it! It has that yummy crunch and a more profound speculoos taste, without it becoming something different. I guess you’ll just have to taste one to understand what I’m trying to say here.

I’ll tell you all about Mamita’s Bakeries in a second but first: Ice Cream Time!

Yummy Stracciatella Ice Cream without ice cream maker

Hi guys!

It’s sunny outside! That calls for some yummy homemade Ice Cream!

Today, we’re making my absolute favorite Ice Cream flavour: Stracciatella! I know, Brownie or Cookie Dough Ice Cream is delicious as well but I really prefer Stracciatella. Australian Ice Cream has the best Stracciatella in my eyes but I did hope this recipe from Koken Op Hakken could live up to it. That way I can make it myself. All Summer long 😉

Coconut Brownies

Hi guys!

Am I going too far with the Brownie love? Maybe. Do I regret it? Nope.
I promise some totally different recipes on the blog soon. Wouldn’t want to bore or scare away the anti-chocolate people. If you guys would exist. But seriously, let me know if you hate chocolate. That way I can adapt my recipes to your needs and come closer to my goal of world satisfaction 😉 Oh wait, am I supposed to say world peace now?

Anyways, chocolate it is. But not just any kind of chocolate. Trying different things with my classic (and super delicious) Brownie recipe, I came across a Coconut version! It is such a good combo! My family and colleagues can agree on this one 🙂

It was time for a new experiment. I wanted to combine 2 of my favorite flavors into one cake: chocolate (what else?) and Frangipane. It worked!

Chocolate Cheesecake

Hi guys!

I’m sharing a fantastic dessert from The Boyfriend today. On Wednesday, I tried to make a Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake. I failed. Massively. The Boyfriend felt so bad for me, he made this divine Chocolate Cheesecake! That’s what I call true love. Especially because The Boyfriend has nothing with desserts. He did it just for me ❤
