These little cakes bring back lots of memories. When I was little, I used to eat these are my grandparents. I have to admit these homemade ones of even storebought ones don’t compare to the ones from Lotus.
Have a delicious day ❤
Easter is almost here! Are you guys as excited about it as I am? I don’t really decorate the house but I do love the Easter chocolate 😉 I think I’m going to make my boyfriend a little easter hunt. I think he’ll love it.
When I think about Easter, I think about chocolate, eggs, little chicks and bunnies. I somehow always go for the bunnies when it comes to Easter recipes. Last year, I made a big bunny cake. This year? I’m making one again! But a completely different bunny cake.
This weeks recipe is one with a Royal touch: Swedish Princess Cake. Swedish what? This cake is a traditional Swedish layered cake with yummy sponge cake, pastry cream, lots of whipped cream and a subtle layer of green marzipan.
Finishing touch? A pink marzipan rose.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Any plans? Are you going to celebrate it with your love, friends or just by yourself? It doesn’t really matter, it’s always a good day to have a Cupcake 😉
I wanted to keep it simple this year. Most of us have to work and don’t have time – or feel like making time – to make something complicated. My solution? Chocolate Vanilla Cupcakes!
Once in a while I get this huge craving for cake. Just a simple cake. Do you have that too? Although I do like myself some storebought cake, you have to admit a homemade one is so much better. And so easy to make! To serve my fickle cravings, I made a Marble Cake.
Tomorrow is Lichtmis / Candlemas. The typical treat on that day is: Pancakes! I was thinking of many different Pancake recipes but given the time of the year and my love for skiing and Austria, I thought Kaiserschmarrn would be great!
Have you ever had Kaiserschmarrn? It’s a typical Austrian dish which is closely related to Pancakes. You basically make a couple of big, fluffy Pancakes and tear them apart. Add some raisins and apple sauce, some icing sugar and you’re good to go! Super easy and so so good!
Forget what I said last week… Get ready for some serious calorie bombing! For real!
If you know you can’t resist these fabulous Brookies, feel free to leave now. NOW! I don’t want to be responsible for the failure of your diet. I really don’t. I admire you. Keep up the good work!
If you are like me and believe cheating (with meals, not on boyfriends or girlfriends) is best done 100%, please stay here 😀 You’re about to discover the next best thing!
My last recipe for 2017… It had to be Cupcakes! Let’s close this year with the very reason this blog started in the first place.
It didn’t take long to decide on festive Cupcakes for New Year. Ferrero Rocher Cupcakes! They don’t need much decoration to look festive and most of my friends and family simply can’t resist 😉
Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful time with family, friends, furry pets and lots of delicious food!
To get you in the Christmas mood => a mouthfull yummy Oreo Cupcake with a merengue Christmas tree on top! Bam!
It’s only 13 (!) days ’till Christmas! Even I’m feeling a bit stressed…
People are starting to freak out about buying presents and some people may freak out about what to ask for. Buying for a baker or being a baker yourself? Stay tuned because here comes my Christmas Wishlist for Bakers!
I’m skipping some of the obvious essentials, such as a mixer or kitchen robot and an oven, because these are just too expensive to ask Santa. But there are lots of other things you can get your favorite Baker for Christmas. Or ask yourself 😉
