Chunky Monkey Brownies

Hi guys!

Apparently, I’m having a Brownies period xD
But you can never have too many Brownies, right?

Today is a very special Brownie-day. Why?
Because I’ve made Chunky Monkey Brownies!
Some of you might have heard about ‘Chunky Monkey’ before…
It is namely a flavour of Ben & Jerry’s!

Not that I have ever tasted that one…

But it absolutely brings a very interesting flavour to your Brownies!

Chunky Monkey Brownies. These Brownies are named after the Chunky Monkey ice cream flavor from Ben & Jerry's!

What do we need:

  • 250 g butter
  • 350 g dark chocolate
  • 80 g self-raising flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 banana’s
  • 200 g pecan nuts
  • baking tin

How to:

Put the butter and the chocolate together in a bowl. Melt it in the microwave.

Mix together the sugar and the eggs. Mix until it becomes smooth and the sugar is absorbed by the eggs.
Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture. Mix until it becomes a smooth batter.

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees centigrade.

Cut the banana’s in pieces.
Mix the flour in the batter. Add the pecan nuts and the banana.
Stir well to make the nuts and banana’s go everywhere.

Put the batter in the baking tin and bake for about 30 minutes.

Have a delicious day ❤
