Carnival Cupcakes

Hi guys!

It’s Carnival or Mardi Gras today! Unfortunately that does not mean funny costumes for me… although I really think they should introduce that into working life as well. Why let the kids have all the fun?

But we adults have the ability to make food! Or at least some of us ๐Ÿ˜‰ And that’s exactly what I did ๐Ÿ™‚ I used my favorite source in the world – Pinterest – and found the perfect kind of cupcakes for Mardi Gras: Funfetti Cupcakes! You know, the ones with the colourful dots inside the cake. But I guess I didn’t use the right ingredient or not enough of it because there are no colourful dots to be found in my cupcakes ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Oh well, next time ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Oh, I tried making funfetti something, too, but they didn’t look fun at all. ๐Ÿ˜ These cupcakes, on the other hand, look really cute and delicious. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy FF, little Sarah! x

  2. I miss the Carnival celebration… in Italy it is a very important period, especially for food… glad to see someone celebrating it! especially food wise!

    • Haha Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s not such a big thing here as it is there but we do celebrate it ๐Ÿ™‚ We noticed how important it is to Italy, Germany and Austria while travelling because we drove around for to stay because all the hotels and guesthauses were ‘full’ because of Carnival. Not that they really had any guests, they just wanted to celebrate it themselves xD
