Apple Turnovers

Hi guys!

One of my favorite bakery treats are Apple Turnovers! It’s silly but if the Apple Turnovers aren’t good, the bakery isn’t good xD At least for me, that is :p I bet everyone has a special “reference” treat to compare bakeries and to either find them good or not. What’s yours?

These Apple Turnovers are so easy to make, you’ll never have to live a day without them πŸ˜‰

What we need for 10 Apple Tunovers:

  • 2 apples
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 10 pieces of puff pastry 10 x 10 cm
  • 1 egg
  • baking sheet
  • parshment paper
  • cane sugar

How to:

  1. Preheat the oven at 200Β°C
  2. Peel the apples and get rid of the apple cores
  3. Cut the apples in small cubes and put them in a bowl
  4. Add the sugar and cinnamon to the bowl and gently blend it all in
  5. Take a piece of 10 x 10 cm puff pastry and add a little bit of the apple mixture in the middle.
  6. Fold the puff pasty and gently press the sides
  7. Repeat until all Apple Turnovers are done
  8. Beat the egg and brush it on the puff pastry
  9. Sprinkle some cany sugar over the Apple Turnovers
  10. Place some parshment paper on the baking sheet and line the Apple Turnovers
  11. Bake for about 15 minutes

Have a delicious day ❀
xxx Sarah
