Hi guys!
I am beyond super excited about today!
Angie, our lovely host at Fiesta Friday, invited me to be co-host at the part! Woop Woop!π Are you ready for it, Kaila? :p
It is my very first time as a co-host and I will do my very best to be the best co-host I can possibly beπ
Are you guys as excited as I am?
I’ve made Peach Crumble Bars for you today.
It is super easy to make and super easy to eatπ
I didn’t follow the recipe though… I should have used a little bit of cinnamon but I didn’t have any. I guess that was the thing I broke last week and not the curry…
But I have neighbours! Yay!
Neighbours who don’t have any cinnamon! What?!
How come nobody in my street has cinnamon??? If there is one thing you should always (except if you broke it) have in your kitchen, it is cinnamon!
Sooooo I left out the cinnamon. But it will be even better if you do add itπ

What do we need:
Crumble
- 390 g self-raising flour
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 240 g butter
- 1 egg
- pinch of salt
- pinch of cinnamon
Filling
- 2 peaches
- 65 g all purpose flour
- 200 g granulated sugar
- pinch of salt
- pinch of cinnamon

How to:
Crumble
- Preheat the oven at 190 degrees centigrade.
- Combine flour, sugar, salt & cinnamon.
- Add butter and mix until the butter pieces aren’t bigger than a pea.
- Add the egg and mix until you get a crumbly dough.
- Pat half of the dough into your baking pan. Place the rest and the pan in the refrigerator while you make the filling.
Filling + assembling
- Whisk together flour, suagr, salt & cinnamon.
- Slice your peaches.
- Put the mixture over the peaches and mix gently.
- Spread the peach mixture over the crust.
- Crumble the remaining dough over the peach layer.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
I used two different baking dishes because my baking tins were either too big or too small. Isn’t this the cutest little crumble ever?

Let’s party!
If you’re new to the party (welcome!), check out the guidelines to get you started!

Have a delicious dayβ€

I am SO ready to party!! Thanks for being such a sweet co-host! I love how we both stuck to a fruity theme, just like many of our partygoers this week.
My friend and I actually just picked peaches yesterday!! We have an awesome farm by our house, so we also got blackberries, blueberries, and apples. I love how simple these are to make. We sometimes use an allspice and cloves combination when we don’t have cinnamon. BUT, it’s hard to replace in small quantities, so it probably wouldn’t be the best here. AND, these look delectable cinnamon-less. The crumble is mouthwatering.
Have an awesome weekend! Can’t wait to run into you again at the party!
