January Favorites

Hi guys!

It feels as if time is going by waaaaay to fast this year. I almost can’t believe it’s February. My birthday (the end of March) is suddenly getting really close xD Don’t worry, I know what I want to make for my birthday. I may have to take a day off to make it possible though. Oh well, worries for another day πŸ™‚

Today is much more important! It’s January Favorites time! You guys ready?

#1: Kiss Cookies

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and this might be the perfect treat to make. Aren’t these cookies super cute? And super yummy as well! I think I’m going to serve this for my boyfriend πŸ™‚ Thanks Wendy for making these. You must chekc out her blog The Monday Box because she makes the cutest cookies πŸ˜€

#2: Shrimp Cocktail Appetizer

Besides desserts, I’m also a huge appetizer fan. Correction: a huge party appetizer fan πŸ™‚ This Shrimp Cocktail fits that description perfectly, don’t you think. I love the fact that Brandie from Home Cooking Memories uses jumbo shrimps as decoration.

#3: Funfetti Cake Dip

Haley from If you give a blonde a kitchen always makes such amazing treats. This Funfetti Cake Dip is definitely one of them. This might be another awesome birthday idea right there! It’s so easy to make. I’m kinda curious what it tastes like. Making cookie dough and eating it raw was a huge thing for me so I’m pretty excited to try this no-bake recipe πŸ˜€

#4: Pear Crisp

Jenny from Dragonfly Home Recipes doesn’t really say when to eat this yummy dishΒ so I’m guessing it’s okay for me to want this for breakfast AND as a snack? πŸ˜€ If not, don’t tell me please. It’s a great idea to replace the apple by the pear I think. I always forget how much I like pear in my desserts. This is another confirmation of my twisted mind. (Wow, what was that)

#5: Raspberry Poke Cake

“Do we ever really need a reason to make a delicious cake? I don’t think so!” Oh Hilary, you and I would be such good friends if we knew each other in person! Know that song from Fifth Harmony: That’s my girl? Exactly my thoughts when Isaw this yummy cake and read that line she wrote. Hihi πŸ˜€ Valentine’s Day doensn’t always has to be heart shaped, right? In that case, this Raspberry Poke Cake makes the perfect dessert! But as Hilary from Embellishmints said, who needs a reason to make this cake?

I hope you guys like these January Favorites. I’m off to the kitchen to bake at least one of these πŸ˜€

Have a delicious day ❀
xxx Sarah
