I promise this is the last post about my trip to Scotland but I have to share this one. Really. It’s super important that I tell you this because I don’t want you to miss out on the BEST pizza in Glasgow (and beyond). If you visit Glasgow, this is the place to be for some freakin’ good pizza 😀 It’s freshly made 😉
You can share your pizza with friends – no silly, not YOUR pizza! – because they have a fabulous 1/2 meter pizza! Pluspoint: it’s only 15 pounds! That’s not that much more expensive than a regular pizza in Belgium! It looks a little something like this:
What I like about Baffo is their interior, open kitchen and – of course – the pizza. Baffo doesn’t serve the standard flavours. You can find yummy pizzas such as Bianca (a carpacio like pizza), Affumicata (cheese and bacon) and Verdure (zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms and potato) Yumm! The pizzas are completely homemade and sooooo good! You can see the chef making the dough and topping the pizza from scratch. The crust is crispy, but not too much and the bottom of the pizza is soft. Perfect 🙂
You can find Baffo Pizza + Birre right across the Kelvingrove Museum.
I want to take you on a little sight seeing around Glasgow as well because there is 1 thing you MUST visit before or after you go to Baffo: The Glasgow University. It looks impressive from the street but then you enter…
I absolutely loved it! I think studying at the Glasgow University is like living a dream. I can see myself sitting on the grass, reading a book during lunchbreak 🙂 Can you?
I hope you guys enjoyed it. I have some yummy cookies and strawberries waiting for me so I’d better get baking 😉 See you on Tuesday!
Have a delicious day ❤
