I’m beyond excited to share this post with you today 😀 A few days ago, I went to the press days of Yapado. It’s an event I always look forward to because I get to see the new collections of brands I love. And boy did I love the new collections… I usually list things in random order but the first two are my absolute favorites! You’ll understand why 😉
#1: Salt & Pepper
I’ve loved Salt & Pepper ever since I can remember. But with this new collection, they have completely stolen my heart. It is right up my alley and I wish I could just buy myself a whole new set of… well, everything! Not that hard you might say but I’m not so much into throwing things away that aren’t broken. I can however invite a bunch of clumsy people over… Does that sound like a plan to you?
Oh god. Look at that silverware. I swear I’ve never felt a deeper connection to any silverware as with this one. It’s love at first sight. How do you guys feel about it?
That plate is so pretty too! If I can’t buy the whole set, I’m definitely getting myself 1 plate. Just to shoot pictures on ’cause I know it’ll be perfect ^^. Don’t you just love the cups? *sigh*
#2: Mistral Home
I have a confession to make on this one. I can’t live without blankets. Especially the fluffy ones. I can’t get comfy unless I’ve got my blanket. Yup, even during Summer. I just love that fluffyness 🙂 Mistral Home came with a new collection for Summer. Including, yes indeed, fluffy blankets! Isn’t this one the cutest thing ever?!
And I’m not just saying that because it has food on it. Maybe a little. And yes, this one is on my wish list ^^
Mistral Home also has quilt covers that are a lust for the eye. I like my bed to look cozy and colourful. Mistral Home can fit that need like no other. I know The Boyfriend said these colours were a bit too girly for him but I think I’ll buy these anyways. I mean, how can you not love this?
Is it really that girly? Naaaaaah!
Oh wow, this post is turning into a confession marathon… I like blood sausage (aka black pudding, bloedworst, beuling or pens) In fact, I love it. There’s nothing better than a yummy blood sausage with some applesauce and baked potatoes. Yumm! My dad and I used to eat lots of blood sausages. Luckily for me, The Boyfriend likes it too so I still get to have my sausages every once in a while ^^ Do you guys like them? I know lots of people that absolutely don’t. I guess it’s a love or hate thing. You can’t just “accept” it. You either love it or you don’t. And I absolutely love!
Yapado introduced me to the blood sausages from Noyen. They are great! I always
thought nothing could compare to the ones we bought on the market but these can. So when Yapado offered me some blood sausages to take home, I didn’t hesitate for one second. Result? We ate blood sausages for dinner 😉
#4: Guilty Pleasure Cocktails
Guilty Pleasure Cocktails will bring us exactly that. You know wine in boxes? Now you also have cocktails in boxes! Super handy for big bbq parties! These cocktail boxes serve 20 servings and keep the cocktails for up to 6 months. Sounds great, but I doubt they’ll outlive the end of the party… These cocktails also come in mocktail versions for the drivers or teens. How fun is that?!
Although I don’t think they can replace homemade cocktails, I believe these can come in handy on big parties. Think of it: less ingredients needed, less preparation time, less cleaning to do. It’s a win-win. These boxes will be available in Belgium from June, starting at Blokker.
#5: Botanic & Fruits
Botanic & Fruits brings us the perfect ingredient to bring flavor to our gin tonics: dried fruits with incredible flavors! We smelled the lime and orange and it smells even better than fresh ones. How? They use a special technique to preserve the aroma’s whilst drying the fruits. I’m a huge fan. You can find these dried fruits in specialized stores but they will be available in the supermarkets soon.
I already saw the bigger packs, but now they also have small packs with just 8 slices of fruit. Perfect for a night out with The Boyfriend. I just want 2 gin tonics and I’d rather not slice my lemon because it’ll turn bad (in case you are in no possibility to bake a lemon cake…) so what do I do? I just take 2 slices of dried lime, 1 for each gin tonic and tadaaaa! The perfect fruity touch to my gin & tonic! You can also use this in your tea 😉
Next fruit to try will be the strawberry 🙂
I’m curious to hear if you guys like these pretty & yummy things as much as I do. Let me know in the comments below 🙂
Have a delicious day ❤
