July Favorites

Hi guys!

Happy August! Summer holidays are halfway through here in Belgium. Which means you still need to keep the kids busy for three more weeks. Summer camps are always a good idea but they may have gone to one already and now they’ll stay home for the rest of the Summer. Maybe you could drop them off at the grandparents? That’s fun! Or you can search some other Summer activities. Ever thought about taking some time off and bake something with the kids? These July Favorites can definitely give you some inspiration!

#1: Pineapple Upside Down Cake

I love Upside Down Cakes. Especially the apple version, Tarte Tatin. But this Pineapple version of an Upside Down Cake by Angie looks absolutely yummy! Very Summer-y 😀

#2: Simple Strawberry Cake

I already told Lily from Little Sweet Baker I love her cake and I still do! Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits and this cake looks so good. I also love the fact that it’s so easy to make 🙂

#3: Raspberry Not-So-Red-Velvet Cupcakes

Raspberry Not So Red Velvet Cupcakes

It is so true that a Red Velvet requires a lot of food colouring. (If you disagree, please tell me what food colouring you’re using!) Ai made some lovely Raspberry Cupcakes without that overdose of red food colouring and I absolutely love it 😀 Don’t these Cupcakes look awesome?

#4: Watermelon Popsicles

Watermelon Popsicles

Uhm, Hello?! Who doesn’t like watermelons? They are my favorite! This Watermelon Popsicle looks even better than a regular piece of watermelon 😀 Simple and healthy, just like her blog Simple and Healthy Foods Definitely trying these!

#5: Eton Mess Cake

This is an absolute beauty! I would be so so proud of myself I can ever pull this off. Don’t you guys agree that this is a gorgeous and super delicious cake? Annie makes the most amazing things. *drool*

So, which one is it gonna be first? 😉

Have a delicious day ❤
xxx Sarah
