Hi guys!
The weather is getting nice, people are getting their barbeques out of the garage.
So what could be a better appetizer than a nice homemade green pesto!
It’s the perfect start for your cozy evening with family or friends 😀
My best friend (Moulinex Companion) was yet again my perfect kitchen help!
He really makes E-VE-RY-THING!
What do we need:
- 1 basilicum plant
- 3 garlic bulbs
- 50 g parmesan
- 50 g pine kernels
- 20 cl olive oil
- Pepper & salt
- Spatula
- Bowl, dish, can, … whatever you like best to put the Pesto in.
How to:
Place the splitter in the Companion. Peel the garlic bulbs. Add them, together with the rest of the ingredients, to the Companion.
Mix together for 10 seconds at speed 12.
Use a spatula to scrape the pesto from the sides and to push it to the middle. Mix again for 10 seconds at speed 12. Repeat this until the Pesto has the texture you like best.
Put the Pesto in a dish, bowl, can, … anything you like.
Tadaaaa! Done!
I was amazed how fast this little friend of mine made me some homemade Green Pesto! It chopped the pine kernels as if it was the easiest thing on earth…
No more excuses for skipping appetizers because they would take too long…
Now all that’s left to do is get some bread and EAT!
Have a delicious day ❤
xxx Sarah
I put pesto on everything! Sandwich, soup, pasta, etc. I wish I had a best friend like your Moulinex! 😃

Love it! I’d eat the whole bowl on its own!!! I made it recently with wild garlic which was really good too 🙂

I can hardly wait to make pesto with my homegrown basil but it is still a little cool here to set the plants out. Pesto just says “summer” doesn’t it? Thanks for sharing your version of this special summertime treat with Fiesta Friday #69 🙂

Oh yes, homegrown basil is the best! I wish I had a little garden where I could grow my own herbs and vegetables 🙂 Pesto does indeed say ‘Summer’ 😀

Absolutely delicious! I tried some variations with rocket and kale instead of basil, and they worked out wonderfully well! 🙂
