Hi guys!
Remember that awesome workshop I did? Yes, the one about the chocolates!
Well, today I’ll be sharing my own attempt with you!
I must say, it is so so easy! I never thought making chocolates was one of the things I would ever be able to do.
But look at me! I did it!
Okay, I’ve only made one kind of chocolates so far so I’m not a chocolatier yet…
This doen’t mean that my homemade chocolates were bad. AT. ALL! I loved them!
And the neighbours who ordered them did too! (That makes one happy me! :D)
This is how my box of chocolates looked like:
I hope you guys had an awesome and wonderful, loving and fun Christmas! I’m celebrating Boxing day with these chocolates!
Later this week, we’ll have another Christmas party and after that it’s time for New Year! I swear, the chocolate is going to kill me this year…
Let’s get started, shall we? 😀
What do we need (I made 77 little chocolates with this recipe):
- 250 g milk chocolate
- 400 g praliné (you can use Nutella if you can’t find it)
- 125 g butter
- 77 cups of chocolate
- nuts
- speculoos
- piping bag
How to:
Make sure the butter is at room temperature.
Melt 2/3 of the chocolate. You can do this using the microwave or au bain marie.
If you use the microwave, like I did, use sessions of 30 seconds.
Stir and put the chocolate in for another session of 30 seconds.
Repeat until everything is completely melted and smooth.
The temperature should be around 45°C. If it’s 50°C, the chocolate is burned.
Add the 1/3 of chocolate you haven’t used yet. Once it’s melted, the temperature should be around 32°C.
Mix together the praliné and the butter.
Add the melted chocolate and mix it well together.
Grab your cups. decide on the filling and the topping (I used half nuts, half speculoos. But you can use pistachio, brésilienne, coconut or anything else you like) Add some of the things you want to add to the cups. This should be a small layer on the bottom.
Take the iping bag and fill it with the chocolate. Top the chocolates with speculoos, nuts or anything else.
Put them in the fridge to set and cool down.
Enjoy!
Have a delicious day ❤
xxx Sarah
