Hi guys!
Belgium did a very good job in the World Cup yesterday! 2-1 against Algeria!!
The whole country celebrated and so did my dad and I π
Let’s hope the Belgian Red Devils can keep up the good work π
When I said ‘the whole country celebrated’, I really meant the WHOLE country!
Even the youngest citizens want to cheer for Belgium.
So it doens’t come as a surprise that my boyfriend’s nephew (Alexander) wanted Red Devils Cupcakes for his birthday!
I wanted them to say ‘Belgium’ and, of course, ‘Red Devils’. You’ll see the Belgian flag and the logo of the Red Devils on the cupcakes π
I hope Alexander and his friends will like them π
The cupcakes are my vanilla cupcakes with the cream cheese frosting. You can find the recipe here.
I went to visit my Aunt today. I have two nieces… One is having her birthday party at school next week…
Oh yes, Red Devils Cupcakes all over again!
Have a delicious day! (Or night in my case…) β€

Awww, I love those cupcakes! The frosting must be steady in order to hold the flag… π
I just read that the football team of every country has a nickname except for ours… The German team does not have ANY name! That’s so sad! We should make a poll and find sonething nice! π And congrats to Belgium.

Thank you!
Here in Belgium we do have a nickname for the German team: The Machine π because they are so good! But a poll would be a great idea :p

I always thought the nickname for the Germans was Die Manschaft

I like the machine… Haha. Die Mannschaft just means the team… Not really a nickname. I’m still up for the poll idea… π
